Icon5 2.9 losing power and rough idle after 20 mins

Hey guys this is my first post! I have a 1990 Ranger 2wd 5 speed with the 2.9 and 143000 miles on it. I began driving it to work and back, which is about 20 mins, and have noticed a significant lose in power and a rough idle. It does very well for the first 10-15 mins but then it begins to become more gutless than it usually is. This especially happens when going up the slightest hills. I would have to down shift and end up going up the hill going 25 mph when the speed limit is 50 mph, still almost not making it up. And even when I downshift it still drops speed. Then when I stop it will get down to like 500 rpms and sometimes even stall on itself. It does not have clogged cats. I have replaced the coil, plugs, wires, dist cap, fuel filter, fuel pump, air filter, and o2 sensor. I have a family full of mechanics and we think it is something electrical that is getting hot but we don't want to just start replacing parts. I have seen threads similar to this but never got an answer. Thank you in advance, John.
