2005 3.0 Running too lean. Any suggestions?

I have a 2005 Edge 3.0 automatic, 2WD, AC. Late last week I niticed some rough idle and decided to change the plugs but stopped short of replacing the wires. Almost for got, the truck has 62548 miles. Each plug that I pulled was white and ashy looking. I am guessing that the lean condition is causing the rough idle, but not sure what is causing it to run lean.Any suggestions as to where I can find a shop manual or something that can tell me how to test the MAF, IAC or O2 sensor? Any suggestions, hints or insight would be greatly appreciated.

get some MAF cleaner (or electrical contact cleaner, or even low VOC Brakleen (in the green can)) and clean your MAF...sounds like you might have a dirty one. If you are running a K&N, chances are your MAF sensor is dirty.

Thanks nate_g_2003. No K&N, but cleaning the MAF is the next step. I appreciate your feedback

No problem. I cleaned the gf's '03 F150 MAF with green brakleen, and it was fine. Her problem was the coil lol. No need to spend the extra money on the MAF cleaner.
