2005 3.0 spark plug wires?

Is anyone running aftermarket plug wires? I.E. something like 9 or 10 mm? Just curious as to what you guys are doing? Thanks!

I honestly doubt that either 9 or 10mm wires have any measurable effect on performance over the stock 8mm ones.
Most of the ads talk about what marvelous materials the wires are made from. They are shy on comparative electrical specs.

No. I bought Motorcraft replacements. I found them on E-bay for a good price. I doubt anything was wrong with the OEM ones. I replaced them because I removed the wires to do other work.

I'd say it's just a waste on a stock engine... just get a good quality stock replacement set!
