3.0 intermittent crank no start
3.0 intermittent crank no start
So I got my 94 3.0 Ranger a few months ago, and after a few weeks I had to replace the head gaskets and freeze plugs. Ever since then it has a crank no start after getting it to full temps and then letting it sit for 45 minutes to a few hours. If it sits longer than that it’ll start but run rough the first few minutes. Thought it was leaking injectors, but replaced those and nothing changed. I have found that fuel pressure seems to build in the rail, as when I shut it off I relieved it all out, and then 10 minutes later did it again, and 20 minutes later a lot more sprayed out still.
