Me personally...I would love to have the 4.0, but I am happy enough with my 3.0, it gets me where I need to go...not any slower than the 4.0 because due to insurance reasons I pretty much HAVE to go the speed limit. :D

I don't like the fact that my truck is really slow, but I cannot complain a bit because I have yet to make a payment on it. My dad was nice enough to buy it and pay for pretty much everything so I am happy with it. The more I think about how slow it is the more I don't really mind it because it's not like I want to go out and race everyone I see anyways. When I get re-geared I'm sure I will be a happy camper for a while.

Still, you're right, in the end it doesn't matter. Ranger's are hardly sports cars..

Now, with the tires and gears I'd be lucky to see 95.
DISCLAIMER: I don't condone speeding, especially in a lifted truck, so if you get hurt trying to hit 102, its not my fault.

Slighty cracked Euro Tails FS
I have absolutely no problem with my 3.0L. Been just lovely so far.
Hey speaking of the "rev-limiter"......does it seem like the engine "misses" or cuts out for a second?
Other day I ws late for my tee-time and had it pinned, close to about 140kms/hr, it seemed to have reached its limit, so to speak.
I assume that's it?
Anyone "disable" theirs, if that's even possible??
