Very nice!:smileford:

whiterangeredge 03-30-2012 08:06 AM

I'll be ordering a set very soon

whiterangeredge 04-02-2012 07:15 AM

Just ordered mine, supposed to arrive between the 5th and 6th. Can't wait to put them on this weekend.

N20-3.0 04-03-2012 01:37 AM

They will be heading your way this morning.

whiterangeredge 04-04-2012 04:25 PM

Awesome, got a 4 day weekend to. Gonna install them and my James Duff traction bars!

Rooks 04-05-2012 08:58 AM

So what exactly does an installation of a set of these take? I'm a little curious, but I couldn't have my truck down for more then a weekend at most and I'm not the quickest at installing things.

N20-3.0 04-06-2012 02:06 AM

This is a easy install. If you have turned a wrench before you can do this in a day with no problem.
It takes me about 1 1/2 hours to do a total rocker arm swap.
Here is a how to....

Got mine yesterday, thanks for taking such care in packing them. It was 8 bucks drink till you drown last night so I may not get much done today lol

NightBiker07 04-07-2012 09:39 AM

Found this thread Via Google, I will definitely be ordering a set of these from your Ebay store in the next few days.

I'm chasing MPG more than power. Any reason to think these would hurt MPG rather than help it?

N20-3.0 04-07-2012 01:16 PM

You know how fuel mileage goes...It's how heavy your foot is.
But no I don't believe these hurt fuel mileage.
If anything they should help because of more power and torque and loss of friction in the valve train.
You will find that you do not have to step on the throttle as hard to get the same results.

NightBiker07 04-07-2012 02:25 PM

That was kind of what I was thinking as well. Be on the lookout for a sold set on Ebay to "NightBiker07", that would be me. Probably gonna order them tonight.

NightBiker07 04-08-2012 11:31 AM

Uh-Oh! No more on Ebay at the moment D: I will be keeping my eye out for them.

N20-3.0 04-08-2012 01:39 PM

I will be putting a couple more kits up tomorrow.
Just want to have all parts in hand before listing.

That automatically makes you a better seller than some.....I cant stand ordering something and having to wait for them to get it! I will be watching your Ebay account for more sets to become available!

Thanks

NightBiker07 04-10-2012 08:11 PM

Just ordered. :smileford:

NightBiker07 04-14-2012 08:11 PM

Recieved insanely fast, installed next day. Awesome kit. If you can change spark plugs, you can install this kit. Thank You N20-3.0!

N20-3.0 04-15-2012 11:42 AM

Glad you liked your rocker arm kit NightBiker07.

To update others....I will have more kits ready mid week.

NightBiker07 04-15-2012 11:56 AM

Would re-torquing them in the future be necessary? I used a dial-type inch-pound wrench and torqued them to 250 inch pounds (almost 21 FT-LBS) because the wrench is rather old.

A couple of them "clicked" when tightening, I assumed it was the pedestal further settling into the groove. Chattered for about 20 seconds after startup, then after the oil got flowing good, it was silent as it was stock.

N20-3.0 04-15-2012 12:33 PM

You should be all set.
No re-torque should be needed.

Froggmann 04-29-2012 06:03 PM

To the members that have installed these--have you noticed much difference in performance? What rpms were the gains at? Is the engine quieter, difference in intake or exhaust note?

Thanks,
Jeremiah

Been away for a couple weeks.
My computer crashed....:261:

I have them on my 3.0 but i guess my opinion would be biased.
No complaints only compliments from buyers.

rangerrunner3.0 05-31-2012 08:37 PM

omg i installed them with my heavily modded engine. and i was like ok maybe ill see a same increase. nope. it was a huge increase. the dyno at work said i had huge gains. almost unbelievable gains. this product has my vote.

WillInThe04Ranger 06-02-2012 01:22 AM

Well I knew my ranger senses were tingling and I was thinking after market parts the past two weeks. Now I'm unemployed. Hope to have a job back soon so I can get in on this. That and some headers. Right now I got a pulley to change. Keep making these man Haha. I want a set.
