4:10s with 32x11.5 tires

Would it be worth it to go from stock 3:73 to 4:10 with 32" tires? Or would my truck just be screaming at highway speeds?

You might not even notice the difference.

But how bad would the 32s be with the stock 3.73s?

Probably not worth the money to just go from 3.73s to 4.10s!

I run 32's and 3.73 gears. Oddly enough i love it in town, fits my slow gas saving driving style very well. But on the highway where I live, its pretty bad. I have big hills and all it wants to do is down-shift and run @3000 rpm+. I have to play with the peddle to keep it from down shifting, use overdrive on/off to fool the truck into downshifting, get "running starts" on the big hills for the inevitable decline in speed if I can manage to keep it in gear, etc. I do get 19+ mpg though, which is awesome.

I do a lot of highway drivin but there is not too many hills, and my truck manual. I'm used to downshifting already just with my 31s and gas mileage doesn't bother me cause with the way I drive I'll get horrible gas mileage in anything. I just didn't know how much of a difference it'd make

You will defiantly notice a difference but it is not worth the money. If you can find another ranger axle or an explorer axle with 4.10's for a good price then yes do it.

with a 3.0 i would get the 4.10s at the minimum. i had a 3.0 with 32s and 3.73s and it was a dog.

my truck came stock with 410s and 29" tires...Id go 410s or 430 with 32s...they probably wont measure out to 32s...more like 31.25 or 31.5. Ive got 488s and 33s right now...its about 250 RPMs higher than where I was at stock...BUT, those extra RPMs help since Im lifted now and have bigger/heavier tires.
