84 2.6 4×4 manual trans. Cold start and dies on idle
I have not had a carbureted engine in years.
it has a cold natured start. Takes awhile to get it to not die on idle. Now it is dying at idle when warm at stop signs.
Where do I start?

You have a 2.8l OHV V6 engine, good read here on that engine: https://therangerstation.com/tech_li...formance.shtml
If it still has the Feedback carburetor then there isn't alot of adjustments, that carb is the 2150A, its a 2150 with feedback parts attached
It basic computer control, but they did just get too old to service
You can try adjusting the choke, good read here on the parts that set choke and idle: Motorcraft 2150 2V Carburetor
