So I put pretty much all new fuel system new fuel sending unit and pump, and high pressure pump , new filter new injectors new fpr new coolant temp sensor new ignition module, and it was running really rich and choppy, and barely idled, but I went through and cleaned a bunch of the ground wires today and now it just cranks, I got a couple pops out of it but that’s it? It won’t even start now, any clues? Thanks
Welcome to the forum
After cranking a few times pull a spark plug, any spark plug, see if tip is WET with fuel, should be if injectors are opening
Try to light that fuel with match/lighter, should burn easily, if not your new fuel system doesn't have good gasoline in it, lol
Anytime you have a Crank but No Start you should do the 50/50 test
Spray ether or gasoline into the engine
Try to start
If it starts and then dies you have a fuel delivery issue(or bad fuel)
If it doesn't start then you have no spark or weak spark
50/50 instant results
"New" no longer means "tested and works"
New now means YOU TEST IT, and we will replace it if it doesn't work
New parts are a PITA, especially if you change more than one at a time, lol
So do the 50/50 test and it will point you in the right direction, fuel or spark
You can KNOW you have fuel, you can KNOW you have spark, but until you do the 50/50 test you don't really KNOW, you just think you do, lol
