90,000 mile tune up?

90,000 mile tune up?

i have a 2000 ranger xl with a 3.0 V6. i was wondering what exactly the 90,000 mile tune up consists of?

i thought it was 100,000 mile tune up!

it is 100,000. Or atleast thats what I thought, you know it when that new dial starts to turn.

off the top of my head-

replace wires, plugs, fuel filter, o2 sensors.

oil and tranny if not already done.
Inspect hoses and belts and replace if needed.
Flush tranny.

thanx, i got a letter from ford saying im almost due for the 90,000 mile tune up. but im going to do it myself so i wanted to kno what it needs.

im gonna do it at 85k miles for me cuz i just bought it and i dont know the driving habits of the last owner so just to be safe and keep up its already strong motor, im gonna do a tune up now :) I just bought an K&N intake for it and now im on my way to buying dual exhaust :) Then ill stop by and pick up new plugs and wires.
