93 ranger cruise control doesnt work, don't know what to do
Hey its a 93 3.0 2wd. Has factory cruise. From what I can tell the whole system is still installed. Has the buttons on the steering wheel, and the module is under the hood on the driver side up by the brake booster. Unfortunately nothing happens when you engage it. I don't know what to do. I think I checked my fuse block and none of my fuses are cooked, so I wasn't sure what I am supposed to look at next. I have never serviced a cruise control system. Do these 93's have a dash light that comes on with cruise? Because if so, when I push the ON button on the steering wheel no lights come up on the dash.....
BTW I got no check engine lights or warning lights.

I have a 95 with cruise. It works, but there is no indicator light. Not sure of first year they decided a light may be a good idea. Best try to get on highway, then turn it on, get to speed you want then set it and let off the accelerator to see if it's working. If so, press brake to see if it disengages. I very rarely use it so my sequence may be off.
