95 Ranger Oil Leak

Ever since it stated getting cold up here in Wisconsin my ranger started to drip small ammunts of oil. I noticed it this last week when I woke up there was a tiny little drop of oil. It is coming from directly under the bolt on the oil pan. I changed oil last today and made sure the bolt was very tight. That didn't seem to fix the problem. Threads looked great on the bolt.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Did you replace the gasket on the bolt?

Now that I think about it, I don't remember there ever being a gasket on the bolt. (One of them black rings; looks like a washer?)

Thanks for the reply. Will look into that tomorrow

Also check your filter. Mine once was loose and the oil leaked down side and onto pan and bolt, just like yours.

Thanks for the reply. I will try to get under the truck and check for fresh oil spots/leaks. When I replaced the filter I purposely slightly over tightened the filter. Thanks for your input :)
