does the air silencer removal mod change the way the truck sounds significantly? i do have a flowmaster 40 series duals on.. but would it make it any louder, deeper? any information would be good. (sound clips would be awesome too )

 

might make your imagination think its louder...but in reality it doesnt do a whole lot

a cold air intake makes the difference your looking for

 

i noticed at high rpm's, and i mean high rpm's as in like 4500-5000 rpm's you can hear some change in sound.

 

I don't think it will change your exhaust note, but you'll hear the intake now at wide open throttle. It's pretty loud too.

 

The engine tone did change on mine.

No, it will not noticeably change the sound or performance. You might scrape up your fingers though.

 

ok the 3.0 isnt that bad.. and could someone give a link to a cold air intake (maybe from k&n) for a 94 3.0L.

 

it didnt change my exhaust note, but without a doubt i could hear the engine better.
