B3000 Motor Swap

Looking at buying a '00 B3K for cheap since the motor is blown. What 3.0L can I do to make it a direct swap or how hard would it to do a 2.3 or even 4.0 swap into it?

I wanna stick a 3.0L back in it for now till I remember how to drive stick again lol then in the process build up a motor to swap into it
