Wanted to put closure to this thread, it's all back together and system bled, it was about $6 a T piece from NAPA, just had to be careful pulling the disintegrated old fittings out the pipes.

Throttle gets full opening with the current play, so no need for the zip tie mod.

Sorry for the necro post, literally got this problem right now. I went and got the whole hose assembly but I'm not quite sure where to start in taking the leaking one off and replacing it (didn't get auto tech as an option in high school). Seems like disconnecting the air intake hose and pulling the connection of the front to drain it and then disconnecting the rest of the attachments from the fire wall and the fan clutch?

same T intersection as you posted about, same leak too. I went and got the whole new hose system instead of a new T joint, I don't know if that hose has been replaced so I figured it was a good idea.

Alright, so just trace up to where the new hose reaches, you should be able to remove from those points.

For sure, I'm definitely considering copying what you did and just replacing the connector with a new T connector and then replace the whole system if/when that one starts leaking again. But I'm not sure. This is my first weeks of having my first vehicle so I'm pretty awful with the technical ins and outs so I'm a little uncomfortable with DIY given how many miles are on it and how unclear I am with when the last service was.

Yep, I actually pulled and replaced the whole hose arrangement. The original owner had replaced the heater hoses next to it last year so I figured it was time.
