i need to know if i can interchange my "low emission" computer/pcm/ecu with a computer for the same exact spec truck requiring only "fed standard emission".

MY PCM part number F87F-12A650-AFB and I need to know if I can interchange with F87F-12A650-ABB.

They both go to a 3.0, v6, 2x4, AT...the only difference being emission standards.

What do you think?

If you recall, i was trying to figure out why my truck was running rich. "100 miles per full tank" rich. my truck is now on its third day at the ford dealer, it has them stumped. i think its the pcm, imo. Thanks for HELPING!

I cant say I have read much on this, but if the trucks are the same basic spec I think you can switch PCMs. It shouldnt effect the PATS if you have it either. Both from the same year truck?
