i have a 2000 trailhead edition. i have a coolant leak in the brass housing that the temp sending unit screws into coming off the front of the t-stat housing. it is a medium size brass piecce that screws in to the block or head i guess??? on the bottom a hose connects to it and on the top the temp sending unit screws into it. on the very front a flat surface has a small hole. how difficult to replace and does anybody have pointer on this???

have not had time to get pics. i have taken my temp sensor out and the hose off. tried to screw out and the flanged piece the hose fits on hits the a/c bracket. anybosy had experience with this part..
