Coolant leak from above and to the right of the oil pan
Hello all,
I noticed I had a pretty sizable coolant leak today. My truck has been parked sense Friday, and there are still some small droplets leaking. The truck is a 2002 Ranger, 2wd, v6 - 3.0 L.
I am wondering, based on the attached pictures, what might be leaking?

This is an image taken from under the passenger's side, looking towards the front of the truck.

This is a closer image of the area which appears to be leaking, taken from the same orientation as the first.

The above image is an image of where the leak has been landing prior to hitting the ground.
I can take some more pictures tomorrow if better lighting is needed.
Thank you for looking and providing any advice you can!

Timing cover water pump or possibly a freeze plug take a look in behind your fan and see if its what at the pump anywhere the 3.0 is notorious for timing cover leaks. Also check your overflow bottle might be cracked or dryrotted hose
Recently had a similar leak on mine at 170 K miles. Thought it might be the timing cover gasket but my mechanic assured me it was the water pump. He was right. He swapped the water pump and now all is well. (The water pump was really shot-- in place of the impeller I had a rusty disk the size of a quarter!)
