Cooling Problem

My truck is leaking coolant from somewhere and when I parked yesterday I could hear it coming out and dripping on the headers which made it steam up like crazy. Then I noticed this..

And this seems to be where all the fluid is coming from, but what the heck is this?

looks like a drip tube, i think. You need to give us a bigger picture and some specs would be good too.

I'm gonna take a stab and say that is the pass. side lower firewall , and that is the drain for the A/C. If coolant is coming out then there is a leak in the heater core.

yeah it is. So a good amount of stop leak should make it drive able again until I have the funds to buy a new heater core? I noticed I could smell antifreeze in the cab when the AC was on.

Stop leak = NO NO
Go to the hardware store and but a hose barb fitting and two clamps , then bypass the heater core 'till you can do it right.
