Cooling system

Hello! I have a small inquiry about the cooling system. The temperature gauge doesn't get to the halfway mark, only slightly below after it warms up. Im thinking its a bad thermostat. Any thoughts?

Ford Temp gauge is 200degF at center
Operating temp should be 180-190degF so just below center line

It will go just passed center line when going up a long uphill climb or when heavily loaded or pulling a trailer and that's OK, 3/4 is when its overheating and you should pull over

So it is ok for the temp needle to be just below the middle? I mean it is like a hair below the middle. It bothers me because adhd lol. But if its ok to drive and wont damage anything then, cool!

That's normal behavior of a functioning cooling system / temp gauge as RonD described.
