Hello! I have a small inquiry about the cooling system. The temperature gauge doesn't get to the halfway mark, only slightly below after it warms up. Im thinking its a bad thermostat. Any thoughts?
Ford Temp gauge is 200degF at center
Operating temp should be 180-190degF so just below center line
It will go just passed center line when going up a long uphill climb or when heavily loaded or pulling a trailer and that's OK, 3/4 is when its overheating and you should pull over
