drill some holes in the pipe right before the muffler. makes it sound awesome

How far away from the muffler would you recomend to cut it? Like 2-3 inches?

2 or 3 inches after or before - lets you reattach anythign else there later with a few pipe clamps and all that - do it do it! -laughs-

ha i think i'ma cut it off after the muffler like the other guy, it looks a lot better then the stock crap.

I did the same thing with mine too. The stock chrome tip was rusting out bad and it stood out, so I cut the tail pipe just before the bend that made it stick out to the side. I put an angled down tip on it to clean it up a bit. It's nice because it doesn't stick out like the stocker did. The tip is just the regular exhaust pipe, but it does look off compared to the existing rusty pipe. I think I'll hit it all up with some black BBQ paint as well.

good job, i didnt add a tip because i didnt see the point because unless you know its there, no one will see it
