Cutting my exhaust
2 or 3 inches after or before - lets you reattach anythign else there later with a few pipe clamps and all that - do it do it! -laughs-
I did the same thing with mine too. The stock chrome tip was rusting out bad and it stood out, so I cut the tail pipe just before the bend that made it stick out to the side. I put an angled down tip on it to clean it up a bit. It's nice because it doesn't stick out like the stocker did. The tip is just the regular exhaust pipe, but it does look off compared to the existing rusty pipe. I think I'll hit it all up with some black BBQ paint as well.
