Dash gauges

I have a 1999 ranger 3.0 v6, some shade tree mechanic before I got handed down the truck wired the gauges directly to the battery and there on all the time. When you shut the truck off the check gauges and abs light come on. I see some wires bypassed in the fuse box under the hood and fuse 11 on the inside fuse box is hot when I just connect the jumped wire directly to the battery and the main battery cable is disconnected. Any help would be appreciated and or wiring diagrams would help!!!! I need to fix it ASAP!!!

Here are some diagrams

I would look at the ignition switch under the steering column, above gas/brake pedals
Could have been a problem there that caused previous owner to do the rewiring

The wiring diagrams help a lot, I looked at the ignition switch and I see a small black wire that the insulation looks melted. Does any one have a diagram for the plug for the ignition switch??

Diagram #2 has ignition switch wires, and shows Black/green stripe wire at A1

It’s not a black/ green striped wire, it’s a small black wire and I don’t know what it goes too

Go back in the harness further to find a good section of that wire to see actual colors. Where it got real hot may remove or change colors.
