Ok, got a MAC intake in the mail today and there are no instructions and the intake pipe seems to be too long!! Anyone run into this problem? Also, the second what I'm guessin is a sensor is being stubborn to come off the old stock intake tube, can anyone give me some suggestions or words of wisdom here before I go cutting things and breaking sensors?

I know its pathetic, its a intake and I can't even install it!

I swear something is messed up though, not just me.....

Hmm..... The box and everything said for a 3.0 liter ranger, but I don't really know if it was quite right..... The pipe could have been an easy 1-2 inches shorter, I had to push the pipe in to the throttle assembly to almost touching and same with the MAF to get it to look to me like it fit allright, still not thrilled with it though......

However, with alot of tweeking and modding a few things I got it on and it seems to work, well see if the computer gets a bad reading by tomarrow evening probably after I drive it a little.

The intake definetly is better than the stock pipe and cone though, was able to slip the tires up a little finally which is a huge acomplishment for my little 3.0, now I need to tune it and it should get up and go decently now.
