Icon5 Dropped new block, got some problems!

I'll start with it running rough when reved up.

When driving, and you floor it, it acts like your gently easing on the grass and doesn't rev up yet the pedal is on the ground.

1st to 2nd is rough going, slams in a little, enough to cringe.

Also the Cat is smokin hot, not I know that they get hot and what not, but this is RED HOT light your cigar Hot. The exaust out the back is rather hot too, engine is running cool supposivly according to guages.....

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys.....

you could almost bet its a timing/spark issue.

Breaks up under acceleration, hot exhaust, cool coolant . . . retarded timing.
