Engine Fan Blades..?
Me again........First I want to thank you all for your time and answers so far..I've actually learned somethings and saved some money also.......Thanks..!.....Question, if I may..?....The fan blades I've noticed as I'm getting ready to replace my water pump, is cracked on some of the blades..Wondering if it's ok like this or should I replace it since it has to come off anyway..?..I was actually searching for a replacement fan just in case, and the only thing I find when I search shows it fits the 4.0 and not the 3.0..Will it fit and work on the 3.0..?

I looked at fan blades for 2005's (my year) on RockAuto and saw that the 3.0 and 4.0 have different fans.
There was a Motorcraft listed for the 1991 3.0l engine (yours) for ~$30.
How cracked is it? Been that way long?
If a blade breaks off while driving might it hit the radiator? Will it shake?
In the parts department I only ever sold 1 fan and it was a multi-bladed "upgrade" an older guy installed on a work van.
That, my friend, is worthless data.

Brain flatulence on my part.
Go here: https://www.tascaparts.com/auto-part...oling-fan-scat
A tad more than $30.
I found no Dorman replacement.
LMCtruck.com has one. p/n 50-2253 $40. I'd go there.
