Hi guys, I'm new here.

I just picked up a B3000 a few weeks ago and have been going through it just fixing issues and getting it in good shape.

One thing I noticed was the radiator fan blade has tons of cracks in it. A internet search has me seeing people leaving it like that for years with no issues. Mine is really bad and this was supposed to be my camping vehicle so I don't want to be two hours away and in the middle of nowhere when it lets go.

So far I haven't been able to find a replacement blade. Auto parts places around here say it's unavailable and when I check Rockauto or ParksGeek I get the same thing. If you just do a internet search a part will come up but if you look at the description it's always for a 4.0.

Is there a known metal blade that will work or a junkyard electric fan swap I can put in this thing? I searched this forum but was coming up empty handed also.

 

After some more searching under different search terms it looks like the taurus fan swap is the way to go.

If anyone happens to know where to get a regular old fan blade that'd probably be the easiest for me right now but I'll probably hit up the junk yard this weekend and check it out.
