A quick question on tuners

I have a question about my engine. It is a 92 3.0, and I want a little more out of it. Before you say it, yes I know it isn't as fast as 4.0's and engine swaps and all that. I would like to have a 3.0 that has a little get up and go, and I don't mind spending a lot of money. My plans so far is a cold air intake, 3.73's, and a few other things.

My question is, is there a tuner out there for the 92 3.0? I have looked on sites and I am not sure if they will work with my engine. I have also searched this site and from what I saw I didn't see anyone with a tuner or anything like that for a 92. Maybe I didn't look hard enough. If there is a link I'd appreciate it if i was pointed in that direction. Any other ideas and how to get a little more out of it would be greatly appreciated.

Talk to some of the vendors on the site and they will set you up with something for the get up and go.

no, you don't have the ability to use a tuner. You need to have it tuned by hand. Alteast I'm pretty sure thats how it goes.

You need a chip.
You can start by checking your timing and advancing it until you get pinging under acceleration. Then back it off 2* until it stops. Fuel and MAF corrections can only be made with the chip.
