Engine Swap
The 1986 to 2008 3.0l Vulcan heads are interchangeable as a PAIR, to any 1986 to 2008 3.0l Vulcan Block
So yes, as a PAIR you can swap the heads
And as a long block swap(block and heads), yes as well
You will need to swap your upper and lower intakes to the replacement engine, so wiring and fuel system matches up
Also swap the front engine cover, timing chain cover, and crank pulley, to get the crank sensor hook up
Remove distributor from 1993 and swap in your Cam synchronizer(needs to be timed)
I would redo oil pan gasket and maybe a new oil pump
And always replace rear main seal on any engine when you can, i.e. engine out or transmission off
And give all the core plugs(freeze plugs) a good look, easy and cheap to replace with engine out, very hard to replace with engine in place
