Engine weight, Duratec vs Vulcan
What is the approximate weight difference between the 96 3.0 Duratec and the 96 3.0 Vulcan?
I met a guy the other day that had stuffed a 200 hp Duratec from a 96 Taurus wagon into a 96 ranger 2wd. I know he had to fabricate a custom transmission adapter but I don't know which tranny he used.
Just curious how much weight he saved by ditching the Vulcan?
Not concerned with the details of an engine swap as that has been covered enough
