Exhaust upgrade

I want to upgrade my exhaust system, and want to know if i take out my OEM muffler, and the exhaust pipe could i get a flowmaster muffler, and then some cat-back piping and like two chrome tips. I've checked into all the systems by like gibson, magnaflow, dynamax, and it just seems way to expensive if my idea could work.

Can i get some feedback?

and if this won't work, can i have some guidance to what would work for this genral idea

thanks guys

Dynomax cat-back.. On summtracing.com... get it.. Im happy with it.. took 2 months to break in for some sound but it sounds nice.. no loud but u know its there.. its mydaily driver i dont need to get harrasted by cops yea know? but yea.. install in fitment is mint.. I suggest getting new front spring bolts to connect it to the cat.. as your stockers are prolly rusted and u dont have to try to save them.. now u can just cut them out to drop the exhaust. good luck!

Yea, you can do that. It is just as effective buying an aftermarket muffler and getting a muffler shop to weld the piping and muffler on for you, rather than buying the complete exhaust system. As long as you do it right.
