Has anyone had issues with running catalytic converter empty ? Did exhaust valves get to hot ?

 

Working or empty catalytic converter wouldn't effect engine operation one way or another, but hollowed out it would allow toxic gases to come out into OUR AIR

So I would get written permission from people in your neighborhood for that modification, only half joking, engines really do put out some toxic stuff

Where did you hear/read about that thing with exhaust valves?
