Fastest most HP on a non-whippled 3.0

I want to know who has got the fastest 3.0 or who has the most hp and tq on a 3.0 that is not supercharged. NO Nitrous...No Turbo's

List the mods and performance numbers.

***EDIT: mods that are ok

e-fan, roller rockers, headers, exhuast, plugs, wires, screamin demon coil pack, morano stroker kit, any polished or ported parts, BAMA, pulleys, intake, custom internals...anything but forced induction and nitrous

I thinnk you'd be better off getting yourself a new engine. Building a 3.0L is just polishing a turd.

I know what you mean...but I figured I would ask.

Right now I have enough $ to buy almost all the the 3.0 mods...or I can wait a while longer for a 4.6 V8. But thats not the point of the thread...I want to know who has the best 3.0 NA, no nitrous

The guy just asked a simple question. He did not ask if he should or should not do it, he just wants to know who known has the most powerfull 3.0L and what mods it has being N/A. I actually would like to know the same thing.

Well the problem with the 3.0 is your going to tap it out at about the same a 4.0 will do stock. Unless you go heavy into the engine and spend 5-10 grand just on fixing it up. Even then you wont be a rocket. Well even with a 4.0 you wont be a rocket, but youll be damn quick like nick or D. Now if you went a 4.6 and supercharged it youd be a rocket, but after you spend 10 grand on the engine, you have to buy a tranny that can handle loads of power, PITA wiring, all new rear end that can handle it etc etc.

basically your better off putting that money down on some real performance like a Mazda speed 3 or something. Or if you really have like 5-10 grand spend that on a lightning then work your way on mods.

Anyway enough negative, how much power are you looking for? if you can get a supercharger for the 3.0 it gets about to where a 4.0 is, which is no slouch. Also on a coil pack, look to see what your stock gap is too, mines .061-.068, hence no need.

it'll take your money, but you'll get a phone call a few days later stating it is out of production.

There's a Ford motorsports specialty shop in town that has a whipple kit that's been sitting on their shelf for like three years. haha

The reason we haven't posted the answer is because we really have yet to see the fastest b/c no one has posted times and the same goes for horsepower/torque. According to Fredness the 3.0 is capable of 250ish rwhp with his BOSS 3.0 setup.
