Fuel filter change

Fuel filter change

Gona change the fuel filter in my v6 - 2005
Whats the best way? Was thinkin pullin the fuel pump fuse, runnin dry, then changing.
How do the boyz over here do it?

unclip and let it fly.... take a shower later... LOL thats how my last change went. ill have to try the fuse thing like you said..

I'm sure you've changed it right now, but there is a schrader valve on the fuel rail. You can relieve pressure there. I just used a screw driver with a rag over it. At least you can somewhat control where the fuel goes this way.

The official way is to trip the safety switch in the passenger foot well and crank the engine over.
