i am currently in the process of doing a motor swap with my 3.0. im puting in the exact same motor. im pulling the motor today and ive disconected everything BUT i can not get my fuel line off my fuel rail. i pulled the clip off of it bit it wont budge. how do i take it off is there a nut that i am missing?? HELLLPPP

Did it have a nut originally? if you pulled the clip you shouldn't have any problem.

 

no nut, so should i just yank on it hahah

 

spray some WD-40 or some kind of penetrating lube on it. and give it a little tug,

 

i was looking on youtube and it looks like most people have some kind of crimpers, is there some sort of lock in there?

There are several different tool designs available for this job from a variety of sources but they all do the same basic thing. The tool slides under the lip of the outer fitting and releases the spring loaded retainer so the inner fitting can be pulled out. Try Sears, Harbor Freight or any auto parts store for the tools. They usually come in a set of a few sizes for about $8~20.

 

They also have them at autozone. They're like 6 bucks.
