FUEL RAIL ISSUE

3.0 ford ranger 2000, how do I get this off? i man handeld and busted the off the other side, think I may have to replace the entire fuel rail system now

her side, this is not just a hose you can pull off, connects both fuel rails to each other

I think the hoses are heated to make them soft enough to be installed on the fitting then shrink down when cooled off, they do need to hold up to 75psi of pressure, average pressure is 55psi

So not sure its a user serviceable part, may have to get the whole rail assembly, but don't know for sure

For obvious liability issues Ford wouldn't want any fuel leaks above a HOT engine, lol, so they may not sell separate repair parts, a 3rd party might
