Not really. If anything, *I* made an **** of myself. Takes both people being stupid to make 1 person look ' bright '.
I just don't want to see someone ' get hurt ' or try something beyond what they are capable of and damage their truck/car/house or whatever they are working on.

No i aint gone yet.
I did'nt know there was going to be a tuning test or I would have studied.Nitrous is only as dangerous as the user.It's all common sense knowing how much the motor can handle and having the right tune.And yes I speak from experience.Sorry for your hospital stay,but Nitrous does not jump out and attack.You did something wrong.
Not me someone was having trouble with their system and I did put on my safty glasses(thank god) and it blew dry N20 in my face. I didn't install it either. Just trying to help a racer out when I did friday nite street fights at BMS. Yes that is how it was spelled. As far as Dayno J. is concerned, he sucks. due to his attitude and being a natural *****, i wouldn't let him work on my lawnmower, anything he says is without a doubt B.S.. He may have a few mods and built one maybe 2 rides at the most he thinks he's an expert and he aint. How many Syndicate Cars have U built D.? how many Nextel Cup cars have u built. And I AM NOT A KID! U don't call a 33 year old man a kid. And I couldn't see anything after that incedent for 3 weeks.

I don't mean any disrespect to U or anyone else now. me standing there pulling a Joe Pesci from home alone (not intentional of course. L.O.L). But none was meant to u or anyone else. I did start a new thread though apologizing to U (Dayno J.) and others I have po'ed, and aggrivated to the extreme. U'll find it in the 3.0 V6 tech section. It's called new plans and new attitude. check it out see if u can offer any words of wisdom or advise. Thanks to all.

1984 Ranger, 289/liberty5. 9 inch out back.
COUNTLESS GM TH350 Trannies/SBC's. That was in the late 70's. My grandfather used to own a machine shop and built a lot of engines and trannies. I sorta learned as a kid.
My most recent work has been on 3 different rangers and an F150, all of which are members on this site. Mostly lowering and lifting and a pair of engine swaps. Presently, I have part a a ' jig ' built and have an engine sitting it in. My cab, bed and fenders are sorta laying out in the snow while I build a solid suspension that will hook quite well.
Most people can verify that they have seen the lowering and developement of such on my own truck as ( again ) quite a few people here have driven it. It ' exists ' , in a physical form.. where as your ' gossip ' has no valid ' factual ' reasoning.

My ride has spoken for itself, It exists, What I have passed on exists. When people turn off the power buttons on their machines, you don;t exist, yet they will call me on my cell and say hello or ask a question to which they will receive an answer thats correct or a ' Umm.. I dunno ' or a lead to find the correct answer from another source. They will also receive pleasent conversation ( endless they are the user here named Shadyluke.. I have this thing about picking on him about his Girlfriend and my kid

So, anyhow, the "tap" issue, 5/16-24 is VERY close to 8mm-1.0, so a tap is used to "clean" the path. I'm talking dust particles here, if there are shavings, you are doing it wrong. I used PB Blaster and cleaned the tap over a light colored rag every couple turns and when the entire hole was done, it amounted to very little metal removal.
Adjusting - running engines is for SOLID lifters. It is far more accurate to determine the proper pre-load and do it on a cold, clean, safe engine.
+1 on nitrous, add fuel, watch the timing, it's all good. (Read: Electronic Timing Control, and proper tuning)

I was being sarcastic dude. Mainly to myself. If u had read my new thread u would've known that I did apologize to U and everyone else dude. I was trying to get a laugh out of U to show that there's no hard feelings. But evidently U hate me period. No matter what I say. I even apologized to u personally in this new thread.
Thanks fredness, but I have decided to swap a 3.0 to a 4.0 stroked to 4.3 liter V6. For 2 reasons, the first being that My engine size is too small for a V8, and the 2nd reason is the stickers are still under the hood that says what came in it from the factory. Plus in this state it is damn near impossible to retitle an older vehicle that went from a V6 to a V8. I thank you for ur input though. I just had alot on my plate dude. It was a bit funny though i am sure I had U rolling in the floor with laughter though. Plus I did spell ur name right. I was trying to use abriviations dude.

Alot of "those guys" come to me for tuning. I am selective on tuning projects. I love the dodge neons especially the SRT4. Man that thing will flat out freakin fly with a stock set up.

Well I had alot of things going on Dayno Jaye. I am much much more than a ricer dude. The only ricer I like is even made anymore and that is a Dodge Neon. Plus I tend to say alot of things when I get a little excited (both Good and bad). I don't hate U either but I don't care for u at all either doesn't mean we can't have some "respect" for each ohter though.
Oh, I wouldn't call Nascar Technical Institute grad a ricer though.
Still can't even spell a name correctly.

Sorry dude about the spelling. Nah someone said that U didn't call me that and I reread ur comments and U didn't. No biggie. Hey what did U spend on ur Magnaflow exhaust system? Looking at going to a smaller size pipe. Plus my ears can't handle the abuse from that terminator muffler anymore. Thanks Dano Jaye.
