04 Edge/Mark ( respected member of the Detroit/Michigan crew ) is a Hell of a Guy. I met him at a meet in Michigan a year or 2 ago. Hes been working on Fords for over 20 years and has given many members a hand working on their rides and with knowledge.

Red_fx2 has done some work on other trucks as well as setting his up for mudding in Florida ( or at least trying to with 2wd :) ).

You've been here.. how long now? Many of those whom have TRIED to explain things to you have been around for years and posted threads of whole truck build-ups.

All the things of timing and stroker ideas were discussed back in 2004 on the Original Generation Edge site by Myself, Doug904, 8second Splash/Jimmy ( yep, ran 8 seconds in a v6 ranger! ), Jason Allen..

We mailed parts to each other and even drove all over the country to the V6FC ( V6 Ford Challenge ) events. Doug sent me a return style fuel system, I mailed him my fender flares and picked a bumper up for him in Syracuse NY and mailed it to him.. we have never sent each other a nickle for anything ( we did drive up our phone bills, talking to Alabama all night long distance! ). Hell, Doug even started a Rivalry ' O come ye O come all, the 300RWHP Challenge! ' where we were all going at it trying to be the FIRST SOHC 4.0liter truck to lay 300 to the rear wheels. We all blew engines, over boosted.. Hell I went from a Nitrous setup to an MP90 roots blower, to an ATI procharger then back to the bottle to get there! Jason Allen had detonation problems, Doug used a Paxton setup and later tried with a 3.0L Wipple charger.. then with an MP112 Blower.. BOOM! ( man.. if he reads this I'm going to get a call.. I just hope he lets his sexy red-head wife talk to me again on the phone.. voice of an angel I tell ya! )

On RPS, folks like TkSmo (spelling?), Wed Turner, Gerry.. Hell Wed has my old 30# injectors and Gerry has a Nitrous Bottle, ScottyG was given an MP90 supercharger and some leaf springs.. The meetings and exchanging of ideas..

Theres a ' crew ' in Detroit that Literally started knocking out lifts. Body and suspension types. They did so many one summer, they had it down to a science. The 8 hour job was done in something like 2!

Theres a Group ( They dont rate ' crew ', theres not enough of them in numbers alone! ) in Indiana that occasionally gathers and they do all sorts of fabrication and Mods. They even traveled together to Detroit for some meets over the last few years! ( thats where I met a few of them ).

Is there any need to mention the Truck meet in Centrallia where people came from as far west as Chicago, from as far south as Florida and as far north as Maine to meet up for a weekend and have a good time modding, offroading, learning the history of the area and consuming many beers, good food and lots of ' tales '.

We've all been running power adders for years, Doing lifts, having dinner together and have met with MANY other members from MANY sites/states..

We have done what we have and people have seen results with their own eyes ( hell, I let anyone who asks drive *my* truck at a meet. ).

These things are REAL, not internet gossip, not some claim being posted in a message on an internet site.

You need to understand, you can't walk onto a site of members that have known each other for years and Start calling people idiots, yankees, broads.. It just doesn't work that way.

THAT is why nobody will listen to you or just finds anything you say as ' entertainment value ' and not to be taken seriously.

I'm a *****. I have no problems in saying such yet I do seem to ' get along ' with just about everyone in person. I've my own view of what a ' good time ' is and it DOES variate from what others might say is ' ok ', but I do NOT try and pass off bad info nor claim to know something I really don't. People know this about me and have seen it first hand and its ( probably ) why I'm tolerated for my antics a tad bit more then some others.

Acceptance is something ' earned ', not given. People will accept or reject you on your own presentation, not your merits or certifications.
