gas milage on a 3.0

i have 15.5 wide thornbirds auto supercab and i get around 13 to 15 doing a little of everything driving but i dont keep my foot out of it enought

I have been getting around 16-17.That is at like 50/50 on hwy and city. The only thing i have on my engine is a cold air intake.

kn,no cats,bosch platinum2,autolight profession 8mm wires,bed cover,mobil1 5w-30,motorkote additive, Going around 60 on the highway i get like 26.5. Around town i get around 21. on 16 gal tank i get 430 miles on highway. 320 city.. Pretty good for a 3.0. People seem to think im full of **** like i cant do the math or something.. Hell its just divideing..

how can all of you get that kinda milage and shift that early? i cant step on the gas below1800 without getting trans backlash, so i gotta shift at 3000 to keep it above 2000 all the time.
