Back on topic.. I'd say your best bet is to put smaller tires on, it seems to rob power/mpg like no other.

Yeah like I have said I own both but my 3.0 is auto i definitely feel my 2.3 is quicker but its not like I can manage to race both of them side to side to see whats quicker. 3.0 with a manual might have a slight advantage.
