Got a Problem

When going down the road, Mainly in low RPM's, The truck will jerk, buck, and feel like it has lost all power, but it recovers instantly. Some times it does it often, sometimes it wont do it at all. The Plugs and wires are all only about 5 months old. Could it be the tranny? I just changed the fliud in that also. Also ( Dont know if this is realated in anyway) When i fill up on gas, the check gauge light will come on when around a certain RPM (Usually around 2300, not 100% sure because it come on and then goes off so quick). Once i get at a half tank or lower it wont do it. Anyone else experianced any of this?

When I slow down and turn the steering wheel at the same time, mine kinda stalls/bucks, but it picks right back up. I just need to fix the idle...it could be IAC?

Check your MAF sensor, fuel pressure, when it bucks do you have the a/c on? Try unplugging your battery for 15 mins and test again.

It will do it when the A/C is off and on. Weird. Cleaned the MAF, Still no help. I'm thinking this fuel pump, or maybe the filter is pretty dirty. The fuel pump to me seam to be louder than it used to. But maybe i'm wrong...

Mine does it sometimes too, check your fuel filter, if not, check your fuel pump, it turns out on mine the wiring was getting eaten away and the pump was malfunctioning untill I got into the high RPMs and there was more power in the electrical system... Or something like that. All I know is I replaced my fuel pump and the wiring and I was fine.

Check out your electrical connections make sure they are good and everything like the alternator and battery. Does it start up all right? You do have that amp drawing power, don't know if you have a capicitor or not, anyway, easy check. My alt fuse went out when I had similar symptoms, but mine died, but can't be your fuse or it wouldn't keep starting up or running I would think, but might be low current.

Just a thought, mabye it will help.........

did you check the error codes?

Mine exhibits similar behavior when cold and I'm driving w' light throttle at low rpm's: the rpm's will drop, the truck will shake/shudder, then pickup again. The more throttle I give it, the less it'll do it. I got the codes checked, and #63 (throttle position sensor) came up, but they checked the sensor and said it was alright. I might swap out the sensor and see if it makes a difference.
