Having clutch issues

A while back I lost most compression in my clutch pedal. Found my slave leaking into the bell housing. So I pulled the tranny and replaced the slave. Well after using a mighty vac suction tool and a mighty vac power bleeder I still couldnt get a stiff pedal. So I started looking around and found my master was leaking where the plunger goes in a bit. So I replaced that and bench bled the system and got all the air out and had a stiff plunger. Put everything back together and gravity bled they system for 3 resivoirs full. Still no stiff pedal at all. Has anyone had this issue or know a way to fix it? Thanks in advance. Im out of ideas.

Welcome to the forum

Unhook the Quick Connect fitting at the slave, there is a valve inside the fitting/hose to the Master that will close so no fluid can come out

If Master is OK pedal will NOT go down, it will be locked all the way up, if not new master is bad, either piston seal or when you push down on pedal fluid is flowing up into the reservoir, it shouldn't.

The slave is just an open cylinder that expands when fluid is pumped into it, no valve or anything else inside it, just has the bleeder to let air out

When trans was back did you look at the pressure plate?
Maybe it was the problem, got locked in compressed position, so slave is not even touching it?
Never heard of that but............

Slave has throwout bearing on the end of it, it can come off but hard to do, and you can buy a slave without throwout bearing and the throwout bearing can be bought separately
If you installed a new slave without throwout bearing then slave expanding out will not touch pressure plate, so soft pedal and no clutch disengagement
