Thx for having me! My 96 ranger 3.0 automatic. Just shout down completely doing 70mph on the freeway. No crazy sounds .just shout down . Please help. I've replaced battery, alternater,starter ,starter relay checked all connections, grounds.ecc. oil is good spark plugs good. WHAT IS IT.

 

Does it crank when you turn the key to start ?

 

In that situation, If I were stuck on the road, I'd first check the crank position sensor and wire, coil pack. Above all else, make sure you are in a safe enough situation to look under the hood. When you can,do the 50/50 test to get you started in the right direction.
