I found a ranger for sale and it has a remanufactured motor but the con is it isnt put in, I am thinking of getting it, maybe to keep maybe to flip but I want to hear from some people who have put in a 3.0, to get to know the gritty nitty details of what it would entail before I jump into this mess

 

If the original engine is still in the truck it will be a lot easier, that way you can take pictures of everything as you pull the old one out.

If the old engine is already out, it could easily be a nightmare putting the new one in, won't know where everything goes and could be missing several pieces.

 

Engine was pulled to rebuild, so sounds like it would be fairly difficult
