Getting bigger tires on a 3.0 manual

So when I buy new tires I'm planning on getting 32x11.5 and my engine is completely stock. I'm worried about losing a significant amount of power.....my truck is by no means a beast but it has some get up to it.

basically... will I have to re-gear?

No it doesn't matter what gears you have. A search could have found the answer quickly

I couldn't tell you what my gears are... I can look tomorrow.

If anyone knows off the top of their head, its a 2000 3.0 4x4 manual.

on a 3.0 maybe you'll loose just a little bit of power but i think 4.10s would eliminate that problem
Back when i had my 3.0 i didn't feel power loss at all with stock gears but i was running 31x10.5 but on 32's...

If you have 3.73s you won't either. Its not worth all the money for that little increase.

You will have 4.10 or 3.73. Either way 32's dont take much power at all. I am running 32's with 3.0 auto with 4.10's.

Same here. The manual helps a lot with not having as much power loss as an automatic would. You'll be fine

Don't worry about it. You won't even notice them.
