i have a questoin for all

i ordered my mac intake and thank god they were on back order because it wouldnt fit the 05 motor but i thought all parts up to 2003 fit the 05 motors? anyways i was wondering if this set up fits the 05 motors

and i know it says 1998-2001 but everytime i click on the 2002-2003 one it takes me there or am i just stuck and going to end up spending 300 on the K&N intake that says its for the 05s?

 

04-05 has a different intake setup. They built the maf into it so none of the previous years will work. Talk to 04sonicedge He just started his buisness not long ago and has an intake for the 04-05 3.0 and he's running them for 270shipped if i remember correctly.

 

Look at your air intake box and you will see the MAF sensor built into it. It has two electrical wires coming out. This is the problem as sonic04edge stated. 2003 and under had this sensor on it's own little tube. The filter would go on one end and the tubing would go on the other.
