Icon4 jingling noise below 1700/ above 2500 rpm

my truck has the 3.0/manual and stock 3.73 rear (for now) and im pushing 31s. I have to basically floor it going up hills and its making a noise that sounds like a pocketful of change while your running... but its starting to get worse. I sea foamed it about 2500 miles ago hoping that would fix it bu not really. i was thinking maybe the timing chain? just want to get it fixed before something goes really wrong

It's pinging. If the truck is flex fuel run a couple tanks of E-85 through it.

Same problem here man, not while driving but definitely while idleing at any temp but normal running temperature. Its pings and jingles at x<2000rpms. Haven't found solution yet

E-85 does wonders for these trucks, best fuel system cleaner on the market. Far better than anything you'll find on the shelf at an auto parts store. It also cleans the combustion chamber.

and it is expensive but i can get pure premium 92 octane with no ethanol or alchohol... would this do the same thing as running a tank of e85 through?

No. Ethanol is a good cleaner.
