lack of power in 3.0

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get more power out of the 3.0 i have replaced both intake manafolds thinking i might have a vac leak and didnt help replaced all o2 sensors installed a flowmaster and K&N cold air intake and replaced the cat with a brand new hi flow aftermarket cat but my truck still cant pull itself in 5th gear it loses power and speed thought about changing my gears in both the front and rear axles but im not sure if that would help im kinda new to owning a newer vehicle and am not sure what to do

no, he would have to have tires that he'd need a lift for his 5th to lose power. That sounds like somethings really wrong, I'd a compression check on the engine and if you can't find out whats going on take it to a shop. the engine isn't powerful but its not going to have that much trouble.

Did the pickup have power then lose it? How many Miles? X2 on compression check..... Its a 3.0, not a power motor, just a long running fuel sipping machine....

my dodge with a 4.7L v8 cant pull itself in 5th sometimes, i dont see how a 3.0 ranger could pull in 5th, but i guess it depends on how fast your going, if im going 80 in the dodge 5th does fine

jacarter, that is a good question. At what speed is the trk not pulling it's self in 5th gear? Your profile don't say if automatic or manual. What is it?
