truck just stalled on me yesterday goin 55 down this road by my house. rpm's dropped to 0 and the check engine light was blinking like crazy..i pullled over and tried starting it. it started fine.. then i put it in drive and it jumped a little,even when my foot was on the brake. So i had one of my buddies tow me to my mechanic and it starts up fine for him... what could b the problem, as i have no idea....

also dont know if this has anything to do with it. i just had my bl done the day prior. anyinput would be GREATLY appreciated

 

This happened to me a couple months ago... I was driving the rpms feel and it died.... My problem was a batch of bad gas maybe its the same for you

bad gas wouldnt suprise me, with the way things are now theyre probably adding stuff to it to dilute it,

 

Yea my friend told me the place were i use to get gas that they had horrible gas and he had the same problem so I went and put some shell gas in and it ran fine

 

Did the engine ping before the engine died? If it didn't then it wouldn't be a bad batch of gas.
