I have this noise that sounds like a jet taking off when i accelerate and it whines the whole time the truck is in motion. Then it slows down when i slow down and stops when i stop...i tried to shut off the engine to see if it still did it and it did...so anyone have any ideas.

sound like its coming from your rear? your trans is probably in really bad shape...

 

is it the trans or the rearend thats probably shot....

 

i had the similar problem and it was the bearings in my fan went out

 

sounds like a supercharger, your gonna want to go ahead and keep that noise
