Has anyone had any experience with the magnaflow catback system for the 98-06 ranger with the 3.0? It has 2.5' tubing with 3' tips.

I have one on my 98 4.0 and i absolutley love it I would recommend it to anyone. Sorry I know you said 3.0 but I just figured I would put in my $0.02

I have it on my 4.0, my buddies got one on his 3.0. Neither one are wicked loud but they sound real nice!

 

i got magnaflow dumped out the side and every one loves the way it sounds...i thought about buying the dual out the back kit, its really nice...i just couldnt bring my self to spending that much money...

 

Cool I think this is waht im going to get. Did you guys notice any gains with horsepower or gas mileage?

 

I noticed a big increase in power. I don't really keep track of mileage so I couldn't tell ya.

 

I wish I could find the audio clip of my 3.0 with the Gibson.

I love the gibson exhaust. It didnt get any louder, just deeper and more of a rumble. Combined with the sclilencer snorkle removal the truck sounds perfect for my wants. Not too loud but not too wimpy. Like a truck SHOULD sound.

 

That's what I have, it sounds great, I have a '05 Ranger extcab 3.0, and it sounds awesome, way better than I ever thought it would with the only engine mod I have is a drop in K&N air filter
